Al Injaz Private School is an institution that was started in 2004, with the vision of quality education for all, and has grown into an arena where students are prepared to face their competitive future with confidence.

The school started as a Kindergarten. It gradually grew into a full-fledged Cambridge senior secondary school functioning from a self-owned, custom-built premises in Al Ansab, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.  The school imparts the Cambridge curriculum as well as the local curriculum of the Ministry of Education of the Sultanate of Oman. The school has acquired the accreditations of Accreditation International (AI) and National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) of USA.

The premises have well-lit corridors with spacious, airy, well-lit classrooms on both sides. Each classroom is equipped with overhead projectors, smart boards, student lockers and security cameras. The Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Mathematics laboratories are equipped with all the latest technologies. The libraries have a good collection of age-appropriate books. The Art room, Music room and the Gym are the haven for students interested in the same. The school has a state-of-the-art playground and has separate play areas for the Kindergarten section and the main school section.  It also has an auditorium with a capacity of 500 people. The school transportation facility strictly follows the rules of safety and covers all areas of Muscat. The school premises are monitored round the clock through surveillance cameras.  The school has a temperature-controlled pool for the students.

The Kindergarten section of the school is equipped with an ideal learning environment through fun play. Students are warmly welcomed to the classroom by their teachers in the morning. They have a busy day of indoor as well as outdoor activities and learning sessions. Art, Craft, Music, and Physical Education play an active role in their curriculum. Their daily routine focuses on activities that help to build their large and small motor skills, cognitive development and coordination as well as reading, writing and communication skills.  The celebration of Colour Days, Fruits Day, Vegetables Day, Pet Day, Grandparents Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, national and religious festivals help the students to value the presence of each one in their lives.

The Primary, Middle and Secondary school functions with the aim of imparting knowledge through different methodologies to cater to the visual, kinesthetic and other styles of learning in the learners. Along with learning through different styles, the school also constantly tests the learners to have scientific feedback regarding the progress of learning in each child. Details of the students development in various subjects and areas are shared with the parents in a transparent session during the Parent Meeting forums. A sense of discipline, ownership and responsibility are instilled in the students through various sports, co-curricular activities, and hobby clubs.

The importance of teamwork and team spirit is imbibed in the students through the division of them into four houses. Internal competitions and games are held, and the houses gain points as per the level of participation of their members. At the end of the academic year, an overall trophy for the highest scoring house is awarded to motivate the students and keep the team spirit going.

The Student Council of the school is elected through the process of ballot. Campaigning and commitment play important roles in this process. The process of voting, declaration of council election results and the Investiture ceremony develops a sense of pride and a reinforced obligation to the responsibilities and promises made. The Student Council plays an important role in maintaining discipline in the school.

The Section for Special Needs has classrooms designed to cater to their specific requirements. The special section has well trained special educators, speech therapist, physiotherapist and occupational therapist who plan and work with each child as required to help them try to be as independent as possible. The learners of this section are also trained in vocational tasks to have a skill that would help them in the future. A few of the learners from this section are integrated with the mainstream section with the support of a shadow teacher, if required. A couple of students from the Section of Special Needs at Al Injaz have received employment in International Hotels through their vocational skills.

Students are motivated to take part in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, as well as competitive platforms at the inter school, national and international levels, to help them broaden their horizon of knowledge and build their self-confidence and competitive skills to face the challenges that they will face in the future. Field trips, fun picnics, trekking, and educational trips are included in the curriculum.

The students at all levels at Al Injaz are encouraged to participate in philanthropic activities to develop in them the sense of benevolence and duty to society. Working with organisations for the blind, orphans, old age and other deprived sections of the society is an eyeopener for the students to the reality of the world and understanding how blessed they are. They are taught to empathise and share.

The parents' council participates in certain activities of the school to be an active partner of the school in the efforts to groom the learner into a worthy citizen. They also help with organising charity events and sourcing educational and motivational speakers for the students and staff members.

The Alumni of Al Injaz have been well placed in the society and are grateful to the school for imbibing in them the qualities of sincere hard work, a sense of discipline, systematic planning, and commitment to the society, that has helped them to become responsible citizens. They are grateful to the school and help in guiding students who are completing high school in choosing universities. The annual meets of the Alumni is a stage for sharing experiences related to skills learnt at school.

The teaching staff members of the school are well qualified, experienced and approved by the Ministry of Education of Oman. They have regular training sessions to keep them up to date on the modern techniques of imparting knowledge. The classrooms are designed to have a maximum strength of 24 students. This helps the teachers to focus on each student to render suitable guidance for every learner. They can handle the multilevel intelligence in the classroom tactfully, keeping up the motivating spirit for each one of them.

An Al Injazian stands out in a crowd with a confident attitude and appropriate skills of survival at any given point of time.
